Each location has been chosen carefully so you can maximise the enjoyment of your time in resort.


Bansko is regularly voted the best value ski resort in Europe and with flights costing as little as £80 return to Sofia.
In resort prices are much lower than other European resorts, with a 2 course meal including wine costing around £15. A beer or hot chocolate on the slopes is around £2.50.

Unlike purpose built ski resorts Bansko is a charming town with plenty of history. The town and the mountain are World Heritage Sites, protected by UNESCO.
Bansko has the best snow record in Bulgaria and the winter season runs from Mid-December to Mid-April. With north facing slopes and 80% snow making coverage, Bansko attracts skiers and snowboarders of all abilities.

Après Ski

Bansko offers the best après ski experience of all the Bulgarian ski resorts. There is something for everyone in either the modern bars, live music venues, restaurants and clubs or in the laid back taverns in the rustic old town. The fantastic location of our chalets means that you are within easy walking distance to everything.

Our team will be pleased to book you in for the weekly Bansko Bar Crawl which visits the best bars and clubs. You can even bring fancy dress if you’d like a themed bar crawl!

Back country ATV Tours

Get your adrenaline pumping on an exciting tour of the back country area on these powerful machines. ATV Tours in the Pirin mountain foothills can be organised once you arrive at the chalet.

Thermal Spring Baths

The beautiful outdoor geo-thermal spring baths that are featured in some of the local villages are just a short drive away, the warm mineral water will soothe your aches and pains as you soak in the natural baths. There are also restaurants next to the pool, if you wish to spend the evening there on your chalet hosts day off. Your chalet hosts will be able to organise the whole experience for you.

Ice-Skating

Bansko has as outdoor ice-rink on the main street near the gondola.  This is great fun for all the family and we will be happy to drop you off and collect you again in our chalet minibus.

Air Soft Military Simulation Game

The ultimate military simulation game that offers an unparalleled level of realism. Players are divided into teams and engage in intense battles using fully realistic replicas of combat weapons. Equipped with 6mm plastic pellets, players must outsmart and outshoot their opponents to claim victory.

Pistes & Map

Bansko Piste map There are over 70 kilometers of piste marked area, a multitude of techno alpine snow cannons cover the slopes to top up the snow and improve the ski season. Bansko offers runs and tracks for all types of skiers and snowboards and will suit beginners, intermediates and experts.

Advanced abilities can enjoy the black & red runs with difficult sections and the extremely steep Tomba race track, which regularly hosts events for the FIS World Cup.
The resorts range of red and blue runs are perfect for the intermediate and family skiers wishing to cruise around the mountain whilst enjoying the exercise and fresh air.

Bansko welcomes beginners and has two areas dedicated to learners. At the top of the gondola the massive learner area has two gentle rope pulls and a button drag lift complete with children’s play area and crèche. The second beginner slope is in the Chalin Valog area and also has its own dedicated button drag lift.

Snow Park & Off Piste

Located on the upper slopes and accessed via chairlift, the fun park is equipped with boxes, rails and kickers with varying levels of difficulty. For the expert skiers and boarders a vast amount of off piste area is begging to be explored, though we would always recommend taking a guide and the appropriate equipment. We are more than happy to organise this for you.

Andorra is a beautiful country, nestled between France and Spain. Our chalet hotel is located between Soldeu and Grau Roig, part of the Grandvalira ski zone. Grandvalira is the largest ski zone in the Pyrenees, with more than 200km of piste. There is something for all ability levels, whether you are a skier or snowboarder, including 3 freestyle parks and plenty of off piste.

Après Ski

Nearby Soldeu offers excellent après ski opportunities with fantastic après bars and activities including floodlit park sessions at our Chalet Hotel Peretol. Chalet Hotel Peretol also boasts the lowest price après-ski bar in the area, next to a roaring log fire and views over the Sunset Park.

Other Winter Activities

Skidoo Hire & Guides

Nothing gets the adrenaline going better than an exciting tour of the area on these powerful snow bikes. Fun days out on the skidoo circuit can be organised in advance or once you arrive at the chalet hotel. After dark skidoo trips are also available.

Mushing

The Mushing Dog Sled trips are fantastic to enjoy with friends, your partner or your family. Mushing is the ideal activity for those who love both animals and spectacular views. Dogs pull your sled along snowy paths through the forests of Grandvalira.

Snow Shoe Walks

Your choice of snow shoe tour with a variety of tracks though the valley, you can choose the difficulty, length and terrain to discover the beautiful country and icy lakes of Grandvalira in a completely different way.

There are excursions lasting 1, 2, 3 or 5 hours and you can hire all the necessary equipment but you will need some solid walking shoes.

Spa Day or Spa Evenings

Soldeu boasts several excellent spa centers to soak away any aches and pains from activity filled days.  We can happily provide comprehensive advice on the best choice of spa for you or your family with prices starting as low as 10 euro and luxurious day spas complete with massage just 50 euro.

Pistes & Map

The Grandvalira ski area comprises of six separate ski areas; Pas De La Casa, Grau Roig, Soldeu, El Tarter, Canillo and Encamp all linked together to form the largest ski area in the Pyreneese. This wonderful ski area spreads over such a huge area that there is plenty of varied runs for you to explore and enjoy over your holiday.  There is plenty of variety of terrain, with tree runs, open valleys, bowls and off piste with a large number of black, red, blue and green runs.

Snow Park & Off Piste

Grandvalira operate several snow parks within the area and holds many major events as an example of the excellent standard of the freestyle parks that it operates.  The Sunset Park is one of those examples and our own Chalet Hotel Peretol is situated next to this park giving you the best access especially at night when the park is floodlit and many local pro riders choose to spend their time jibbing the park and enjoying an après drink or snack at the Chalet Hotel Peretol bar.
